An excellent opportunity has arisen for recruitment within Facilities, Waste and Neighbourhood Services.  We deliver a wide variety of frontline services and require a Senior Refuse & Recycling Operative.  You will be required to work 36 hours per week over 52.14 weeks per year.

\\n

Duties will include: – 
•    Drive and be responsible for Refuse Collection Vehicle and other service vehicles as required.
•    Collection of Refuse, Recycling, Food Waste, Garden Waste, White goods, and Special/Bulky uplifts for disposal
•    Other tasks relating to Waste Collection Services functions as directed.

You will be expected to carry out various duties as instructed by the Waste Supervisor and have a working knowledge of Health and Safety requirements. You will be required to work as a team member.

You will be educated to Standard Grade Level. 

\\n

A fully valid, current heavy goods driving licence is essential for this position.
