Job Description Refuse & Recycling Operative (15/2386) Harthill Depot, Lockerbie and £26,187 - £26,637 Duties will include:- Collection of Refuse, Recycling, Food Waste, Garden Waste, White goods, and Special/Bulky uplifts for disposal Other tasks relating to Waste Collection Services functions.
When required, drive and be responsible for allocated vehicles.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for recruitment within Facilities Waste and Neighbourhood Services.
We deliver a wide variety of frontline services and require a Senior Refuse & Recycling Operative You will be expected to carry out various duties as instructed by the Waste Supervisor and have a working knowledge of Health and Safety requirements.
You will be required to work as a team member.
This post is subject to candidate vetting through Disclosure Scotland.
You will be educated to Standard Grade Level.
Full valid current driving licence would be beneficial but not essential for this position.
This post may be suitable for secondment.
Agreement from your line manager must be sought before applying for this post.
