You will be required to work 15.75 hours per week, 38 weeks per year.

Facilities Services (Catering) are looking for a Cook 1 (General Catering Assistant) that can lead the servery kitchen at Locharbriggs Primary School whilst carrying out the general catering tasks associated with the delivery of school meals.
You must be an energetic and enthusiastic person that will carry out the following tasks:
- Light food preparation
- Serve meals
- Setting up and decanting of dining room
- Setting up service area
- Cash handling as and when required
- Dishwashing and General kitchen duties
- Clearing down and cleaning kitchens and staff rest areas
- Carry out electronic paperwork
Experience is not necessary as full training will be given if required. You will also be given Basic Food Hygiene and Allergen Awareness training.
This post is considered as Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. From 28 February 2011, preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check prior to formal offer of employment being made by Dumfries and Galloway Council.
Applicants who have been resident outside the UK within the last 5 years, if offered a position, in addition to a Disclosure Scotland Check, will be required to provide a completed police record check from the police authority in the country or countries in which they were resident.
