Leisure Attendant (Dryside) (16/509)

Dumfries

You will be required to work 15 hours per week, 52.14 weeks per year.

We require a motivated, reliable and enthusiastic individual to work as part of our dryside team carrying out general leisure attendant duties, including ensuring customer safety, communicating effectively with members of the public and other staff, undertaking cleaning duties and setting up and dismantling of sports equipment in a safe environment. You will play a key role in ensuring DG1 maintains high standards of cleanliness and helping to ensure our dryside activities are set-up and ready for our customers.

You will be based at DG1 and will assist in actively promoting DG1 and Leisure and Sport activities. The leisure facility has 3 swimming pools and a health suite with sauna and steam room. A 6-court sports hall hosting a range of sports and activities, a large fitness suite, 2 fitness studios and a wellbeing area as well as meeting rooms available for hire.

Experience of working with the public and customer care is desirable and ideally you will have experience of working as part of a team

You will be required to attend regular staff training sessions as part of the requirement of this post. This post will include shift work including evenings and weekends.

Part time hours will be considered for this post.
