We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and self-motivated Lead Fitness Instructor to manage the delivery of our fitness delivery and programmes at DG1.  This includes leading and managing our fitness instructor team.  You will also work closely with our DG1 management team to achieve our overall goals.

You will be responsible for coordinating, developing, promoting and monitoring our fitness programmes, including management of our Fitness Instructor Team.  You will liaise with existing and potential customers, clubs and community groups.  You will be required to monitor fitness timetables, respond to customer feedback and promote our Club membership.  You will also work with our partners in delivering the Active Lives Pathway. You will be required to work during the daytime, evenings and weekends.

You must have a Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification as well as experience of fitness class delivery.  You must have supervisory experience of staff, be able to meet deadlines and demonstrate a knowledge of marketing and promotion.  You will also be confident in promoting our activities to a wide-ranging audience and be committed to delivering a high level of customer service.  You will have a knowledge of industry fitness trends and ideally have an understanding of our membership schemes.
