This role offers the chance to take a leading position within this evolving landscape, driving forward the region’s most significant economic development, regeneration and housing capital investment programmes, as well as working at a place based level, to ensure Dumfries and Galloway realises its full economic potential.
You will be an experienced leader with a track record of success in economic growth programmes and project management ideally, within a local authority environment. Your knowledge of external funding support and building successful business cases will help to leverage investment from a range of sources. You will be comfortable working in a partnership environment engaging with public, private, community and third sector stakeholders.
Educated to degree standard in a relevant technical discipline; you will possess significant relevant post-graduate work experience and professional membership of a relevant recognised body.
