Provision of Refuse & Recycling collection services, to domestic & commercial properties across Dumfries & Galloway.
Duties will include:
- Driving of Refuse, Recycling, Food Waste & White Goods/Bulky collection vehicles.
- Ensuring collection of refuse & recycling routes daily in a safe and efficient manner adhering to Health & Safety and Safe Working Procedures.
- Any other tasks relating to Waste Collection Services functions.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for recruitment within the Facilities, Waste and Neighbourhood Services, Directorate. You will be expected to carry out a range of duties as instructed by the Waste Supervisor.
Ideally you will have a working knowledge of Health and Safety requirements in Waste Management and Transportation. You will be able to work both independently and as a team member.
This post is subject to candidate vetting through Disclosure Scotland. You will be educated to Standard Grade Level and have Class C, HGV License, and valid Driver CPC.
