Join our team as an Employment Job Coach! Are you passionate about empowering individuals with Autism and additional support needs to reach their full potential? We are looking for a dynamic Employability Job Coach to join our vibrant Employability and Skills Team on our DFN ProjectSEARCH programme.

Flexible Working: You’ll be required to have the flexibility to work regionwide in both our Dumfries and Stranraer sites, adapting to meet the needs of our programme interns. We also offer the possibility of flexible working hours to accommodate service/programme demands while meeting your own work-life balance.

Help our interns from varied backgrounds/locations to access and sustain work placement opportunities to aid with progression into employment.

Holistic Approach: Work with our two cohorts of interns, providing comprehensive support in 1-to-1 and group settings, as well as in their work placements. Build and utilise your skills to help with intern progression whilst on placement. Work alongside the Employment Key Worker and partners on these programmes to ensure full support and coverage of intern and placement needs at both sites.

Qualifications: SCQF Level 5 in Advice, Guidance, Social Welfare or Community Learning & Development related discipline or a related field.

Experience: Proven experience working with young people and adults, either individually or in groups, is essential.

Desirable Knowledge: Familiarity with a wide range of support services, the employability sector, and the welfare system is a plus, though training will be provided.

Driving Licence: A current driving licence is essential.

This post is considered as Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
