This full time post presents an exciting opportunity to lead Club Development within the Education, Skills and Community Wellbeing Directorate. Working with sport clubs and key community partners to ensure clubs in Dumfries and Galloway are safer, stronger, more inclusive and more sustainable.
This role involves working directly with clubs, local and national partners, leading the planning and development of sport clubs across Dumfries and Galloway, to ensure access and engagement is maximised. This role will also play a support role to SportScotland's Community Sport Hubs programme and will promote and enhance the quality of sport and physical activity across Dumfries & Galloway.
Applicants must be educated to degree level in a sport related field or equivalent and/or have extensive experience working in a club development environment.

This post is considered as Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. A current driving licence is an essential requirement of these posts.
