The integration of Health and Adult Social Care continues to be a key strategic goal locally and across Scotland, ensuring services are delivered at the right time and in the right place. To support our ongoing transformation and integration journey, we are delighted to welcome applications to the post of Chief Finance Officer for our Joint Integration Board.
This is a pivotal leadership role requiring exceptional financial insight, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of public sector governance. You will work closely with the Chief Officer and the Integration Joint Board (IJB) to shape and deliver a sustainable financial strategy that supports the IJB’s vision and Strategic Plan. You will be responsible for ensuring robust financial governance, leading the development of medium-term financial planning, and providing high-quality professional advice to support informed decision-making. Your leadership will be key in ensuring public funds are used effectively, efficiently, and in the best interests of the people of Dumfries and Galloway.
