We’re now looking for a Building Facilities Assistant to join our friendly, supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity in a role where your contribution is genuinely valued.

About the role

You’ll be part of a dynamic, customer facing facilities team, providing essential janitorial and cleaning support to help keep the school safe, clean and welcoming for pupils, staff, and visitors.

Your duties will include:

  • Carrying out general cleaning and janitorial tasks to a high standard
  • Supporting daily building safety checks and health & safety procedures
  • Assisting the Lead Occupier with safe operation of the premises
  • Supporting energy efficiency and responsible building usage
  • Liaising professionally with all staff and service users

You’ll work both independently and as part of a small team, using a proactive, organised, and methodical approach.

Working Hours

You will be required to work 15.75 hours per week, 52.14 weeks per year. 3 hours 9 mins - Monday to Friday.

What we’re looking for

  • A reliable, motivated individual with good attention to detail
  • Someone approachable, professional, and customer focused
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills are essential
  • A current driving license is required (reasonable adjustments will be considered)
