\\n\\nYou will be required to work 7.5 hours per week, 38 Weeks per year.

\\n\\nFacilities Services (Catering) are looking for a Cook 1 (General Catering Assistant) that can assist the Catering Manager in the kitchen at Kelloholm Primary School whilst carrying out the general catering tasks associated with the delivery of school meals.
\\nYou must be an energetic and enthusiastic person that will carry out the following tasks:
\\nLight food preparation
\\nServe meals
\\nSetting up and decanting of dining room
\\nSetting up service area
\\nCash handling as and when required
\\nDishwashing and General kitchen duties
\\nClearing down and cleaning kitchens and staff rest areas
\\nCarry out electronic paperwork
\\n\\nExperience is not necessary as full training will be given if required.
\\nYou will also be given Basic Food Hygiene and Allergen Awareness training.
\\n\\nThis post is considered as Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. From 28 February 2011, preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check prior to formal offer of employment being made by Dumfries and Galloway Council.
