Join our award-winning school cleaning team at Canonbie Primary School. We’re looking for a Cleaner to join our friendly, supportive team. This role is ideal if you are looking for term-time, family-friendly hours in a job where your work is valued and appreciated.
About the role
You’ll help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors. No previous experience is required - full training will be provided.
Your duties will include:
- Cleaning classrooms, corridors, washrooms, and shared areas
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety
- Supporting service improvements through our “Find it Clean, Keep it Clean” ethos
- Working independently with support from the wider team
Working hours
You will be required to work 9.25 hours per week, 39.8 weeks per year. Monday - Friday 3.00pm-4.51pm.

This post is considered as Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
