We’re looking for a Cleaner to join our friendly, supportive team at Castle Douglas High School. This role is ideal if you are looking for term-time, family-friendly hours in a job where your work is valued and appreciated.

About the role:

  • You’ll help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.
  • No previous experience is required - full training will be provided.
  • Your duties will include:
    • Cleaning classrooms, corridors, washrooms, and shared areas
    • Maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety
    • Supporting service improvements through our “Find it Clean, Keep it Clean” ethos
    • Working independently with support from the wider team

Working hours: 15 hours per week, 3:00pm – 6.00pm Monday to Friday, 39 weeks per year.
