The predicted salary is between 13 - 14 € per hour.

To cover as and when required at Stranraer recycling centre, you will assist and advise the public to maximise recycling and help with the manual handling of their waste. You will keep the HWRC free from litter and debris and work in accordance with all site procedures, licences, and site rules. You will also be required to assist with some duties on the Transfer Stations where applicable.

You must be educated to a Standard Grade level. You will have good communication and interpersonal skills, be self-motivated and be able to work under pressure. Experience in the waste industry, building industry or another relevant industry would be a desirable attribute. It would also be desirable to have experience in customer service. You should have an understanding of the importance of recycling and Health & Safety in the workplace. A current driving licence is a desired requirement of this post. However, if you have a disability which precludes you from holding a driving licence consideration will be given if alternative transport can be arranged.
