You will assist school pupils in crossing a potentially busy highway, undertake duties concerned with the safe passage of school children and other pedestrians across roads to and from school.

The control of the behaviour of children at crossing areas is a major requirement of the job.

The post is considered as Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
