We’re looking for a positive, hands-on General Assistant (Cook 1) to help fuel our pupils with fresh, tasty meals every day. If you enjoy supporting your local community, thrive in a busy and engaging environment, and want a role that makes a real difference to you and the children in our school, we’d love to hear from you.   • Baking / Light food preparation
  • Dishwashing and General kitchen duties
  • Clearing down and cleaning kitchens and staff rest areas

Initial training will include Basic Food Hygiene and Allergen Awareness. Kitchen experience is not necessary as full training will be given if required.

This post is considered as Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. This post is fixed term until 27th of June 2027.
