The successful applicant will manage and support the overall provision of an efficient and effective clerical and administrative support service within the Council’s Vulnerable Person’s Hub, in a wide range of settings to meet the needs of the service.

\\n

 

\\n

You must be educated to credit standard grade/SVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a related subject and have extended experience of working in an office environment. Experience of supervising staff would be an advantage but not essential, as training and support will be provided. Good organisational and interpersonal skills, along with knowledge of computer-based information systems, are essential.

This postholder will be a good team player, motivated and adaptable and experienced in working to, meeting and monitoring deadlines. They will be able to prioritise their own workload and oversee the work of team members, as well as be able to deal professionally and sensitively with other organisations and the wider public. The successful candidate must be courteous and polite, and aware of, and able to maintain, discretion and confidentiality.
