Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons, practical workshops, and assessments across a range of levels, while supporting students to achieve qualifications and progress into employment, apprenticeships, or further study.
Who we’re looking for
- A recognised qualification in Hairdressing (minimum SCQF Level 7 or equivalent experience).
- Up-to-date industry knowledge and skills.
- At least 2 years of relevant industry experience (teaching or training experience desirable).
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- A teaching qualification (TQFE/PGCE) or willingness to work towards one.
- Proficiency in digital skills relevant to the role, including experience using MS Office.

All staff are required to become a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) membership scheme, which is managed and delivered by Disclosure Scotland.
