Engineering SVQ Assessor

We’re looking for a talented Engineering SVQ Assessor to join the Commercial Skills Delivery Team on a 35 hour per week permanent contract.

Engineering Disciplines

• Maintenance Electrical
• Mechanical Manufacturing
• CNC Machining
• Fabrication & Welding

Qualifications & Requirements

• Educated to a minimum of SCQF Level 7 in a relevant engineering subject.
• Experience of working in an engineering environment is essential.
• Excellent time management and planning skills to manage a portfolio of candidates.
• Strong customer service and relationship building skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in digital skills relevant to the role, including experience using Office 365 and any job‑specific software/systems.
• Evidence of Right to Work in the UK (including guidance) if invited for interview.
• Conditional employment upon receipt of two satisfactory references and completion of a background check including a Disclosure Scotland check on all criminal offences.
• All staff must become a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) membership scheme, managed and delivered by Disclosure Scotland.
