We’re looking for a talented Skills Delivery Team Leader for Work-based learning to join the Skills Delivery Team on a full-time permanent contract. The Skills Delivery Team is responsible for delivering certificated and bespoke professional courses, SVQs, MAs and Open Learning courses in a college that aims to be one step ahead. The Work-based Learning team are a growing and evolving team who deliver SVQs and Modern Apprenticeships in a variety of different subjects.
We’re looking for a Skills Delivery Team Leader with a background in delivering Work-based Learning qualifications and Modern Apprenticeships. Assessor and Verifier qualifications are essential and ideally experience of managing a busy, multi-disciplinary team. The role will be responsible for quality assurance within the team and will be required to actively pursue business development opportunities to grow the area.
You are required to be an experienced assessor and verifier, with experience of working with a quality assurance process, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to meet deadlines and ideally experience of managing a team. To succeed in the role, you will have some or all of the following:
- Qualifications or skills and experience at SCQF Level 7
- Experience of working in an assessor and verifier role is essential
- Experience managing a team is desirable
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, communication and interpersonal skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Hybrid Working will be considered
- Proficiency in digital skills relevant to the role, including experience using MS Office and any job-specific software/systems
- Adaptability to evolving digital opportunities and willingness to continuously improve digital competencies
