We’re looking for a talented Lead Cleaner to join the Estates Department on a fixed term contract.

Who we’re looking for:

  • A Lead Cleaner with a background in cleaning and supervising.
  • Ability to supervise and coordinate the daily cleaning operations across the college campus, ensuring a safe, clean, and hygienic environment for students, staff, and visitors.
  • This role combines hands-on cleaning duties with team leadership, staff supervision and quality control responsibilities.
  • This role would suit someone working at SCQF Level 3 or have equivalent skills and experience.
  • Experience of working in a similar Lead Cleaner role is desirable.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in digital skills relevant to the role, including experience using MS Office and any job-specific software/systems.
  • Adaptability to evolving digital opportunities and willingness to continuously improve digital competencies.
  • This post is required to be based on Campus at Dumfries.
