We are seeking an Instructor to deliver mandatory and in-house training courses to professionals within the hospitality, leisure and tourism industry. The Commercial Development and Delivery Team are responsible for delivering a variety of professional qualifications, including certificated and bespoke courses, in a College that aims to be one step ahead.
We’re looking for Hospitality and Food Hygiene Instructors with current, relevant qualifications and experience to deliver a range of mandatory and bespoke training courses to the hospitality, leisure and tourism sector. Instructors will deliver from the following range of qualifications and courses, depending on their experience and relevant qualifications:
- REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene
- Customer Service
- Introduction to Hospitality
- Licence Holders Training
- Practical Cooking Skills
You will be suitably qualified and experienced working within the sector. Experience of delivering certificated courses would be an advantage, but training and support will be provided.
To succeed in this role, you will have some or all of the following:
- Relevant industry certification, such as food hygiene and licence holders.
- Practical experience of working in the hospitality, leisure and tourism sector is essential.
- A Group Training Certificate or similar is desirable.
- Strong customer service, organisation, teamworking, and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in digital skills relevant to the role, including experience using MS Office and any job-specific systems.
- Adaptability to evolving digital tools and a willingness to continuously improve digital competencies.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
