We're looking for an enthusiastic Chef Instructor to join our Commercial Development and Delivery Team.
This is an exciting opportunity to use your professional expertise to help others learn, grow and succeed, delivering high-quality training in a College that's committed to being one step ahead.
You'll deliver a range of practical, hands-on cooking and baking courses for learners of all abilities, from those developing essential kitchen skills to those looking to expand their culinary knowledge.
Depending on your experience and qualifications, you may deliver: Practical Cooking Skills Baking Skills Basic Cooking Skills Specialist workshops, including: Street Food Curries Pasta and Pizza Seasonal or themed cookery workshops What we're looking for You'll have current, relevant qualifications and significant industry experience within the catering and hospitality sector.
Most importantly, you'll have the enthusiasm to share your knowledge, inspire others and create enjoyable, engaging learning experiences.
Previous experience delivering training or accredited courses would be an advantage, but it isn't essential.
If you're an experienced chef with excellent communication skills and a passion for helping others succeed, we'll provide the training and support you need to develop your teaching skills.

To succeed in this role, you will have some or all of the following: Relevant industry certification, such as Food hygiene, Professional Cooking Practical experience working within a professional kitchen is essential.
A Group Training Certificate or similar is desirable.
Experience delivering training courses is desirable.
Strong customer service, organisation, teamworking, and relationship-building skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in digital skills relevant to the role, including experience using MS Office and any job-specific systems.
Adaptability to evolving digital tools and a willingness to continuously improve digital competencies.
