  • Welcome and seat guests, ensuring every arrival feels like that of an honoured guest of the family
  • Take food and drink orders accurately, offering confident recommendations across the menu, wine list and daily specials
  • Deliver table service to a high standard, including silver service where required, with timing and presentation suited to the occasion
  • Set up and break down the restaurant, ensuring tables, linen, glassware and cutlery meet the Hall's standards of polish
  • Adapt service style across breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, fine dining and private events
  • Liaise closely with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth, well-paced service
  • Support weddings, private events and seasonal occasions - from the Cheltenham Festival to the Gold Cup - as part of the wider events team
  • Handle guest queries, special requests, and dietary or allergen requirements with care and accuracy
  • Process payments and maintain accurate records where required
