Overview
Dulwich Prep & Senior is an exciting place to work. With over 800 pupils, it has been the largest boys’ prep school in the UK and is situated in one of the most beautiful parts of the world’s most cosmopolitan city. We are excited to launch our senior section this September, and boys will now be able to stay with us until GCSE.
The school’s strength is its community: our staff, who are professional, passionate, and brilliantly collegiate (CPD is massively important); our pupils, who are inquisitive, challenging learners with a spring in their step, and our parents, who are hugely supportive, appreciative and ambitious.
Role and responsibilities
We are actively seeking enthusiastic and creative Gap Assistants to join our dynamic staff in the forthcoming Spring Term 2026 (Friday 9 January to Friday 27 March).
Our Gap Assistants are valued members of the teams in which they work. We aim to ensure that our Gap Assistants gain unique work experience and life-enriching skills by being immersed in the day-to-day running of the school and working collaboratively with teaching teams, whether it be assisting in Music, supporting small groups of children in lessons, or working alongside our expert practitioners in the Early Years. Ideal candidates are responsible, well-organised, and capable of providing supportive care to our children.
This role also offers the opportunity to participate in our flexible Easter and Summer Camp, where you can select the weeks you wish to work.
