We are seeking an exceptional Director of IT Services to lead and shape the College's technology provision at a pivotal and ambitious time. This is a senior leadership role responsible for the strategic direction, resilience and future‐proofing of all IT systems across the College.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver the College's IT strategy, ensuring infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud services and digital platforms operate to the highest standards of availability, security, and performance.
  • Lead and develop a skilled IT services team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Manage budgets, suppliers, and system lifecycles, act as the College lead for cyber compliance and external assurance, including Cyber Essentials.
  • Build strong relationships across the community, supporting staff, pupils and parents with a responsive, solutions‐focused service.
  • Work closely with the Director of Digital Transformation and wider leadership team to drive innovation in teaching and learning while ensuring robust, reliable operational systems.

  • Significant senior‐level experience in a complex organisation.
  • Deep expertise in infrastructure, cloud technologies, cybersecurity and service management.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence to work with senior stakeholders.
