The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient and effective operation of the boathouse and its equipment. Working closely with the Head of Rowing, the Boathouse Manager will oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the College's fleet, oars, ergometers, launches, trailers and safety equipment, while supporting the delivery of training sessions, regattas, training camps and other rowing activities.
This is a varied and hands-on role requiring strong organisational skills, practical maintenance experience and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety in accordance with the British Rowing Rules of Racing and the British Rowing Water Safety Code. The role also includes supporting the transport and logistics of equipment and boats, liaising with external contractors and assisting with the wider operation of the rowing programme.
