We are currently hiring for two Validation positions, and candidates will be considered at both Engineer and Senior Engineer levels based on experience and qualifications. You will be working alongside the wider engineering team to develop, maintain, and improve our current practices, validation processes and test methodologies. The ideal candidates will have strong hands‑on lab experience, a solid understanding of mixed‑signal semiconductor systems, and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative engineering environment. In addition, you will be responsible for validating the functionality and performance of our silicon devices and systems to ensure they meet functional, performance and safety requirements. Senior‑level candidates will additionally contribute to shaping the company’s validation strategy, mentoring junior engineers, and driving improvements in engineering processes and workflows. There may also be opportunities to work directly with customers and field teams.

Key Responsibilities- Perform system‑level testing and validation of semiconductor devices to ensure they meet functional, performance and reliability requirements.
- Create validation plans allowing for full characterisation of device functionality and characteristic performance.
- Define and develop bench tests to achieve the validation plan objectives.
- Create automated bench tests to drive validation efficiency and repeatability.
- Design mixed‑signal board schematics and platforms using Altium design tools.
- Debug silicon, board and system issues on the bench.
- Build strong links with the Design team to resolve any issues found during the bench validation phase.
- Interface with Test, Product, Quality and Design Engineering to investigate field returns.
- Document errata to support necessary device modifications and develop work‑arounds and solutions.
- Build the knowledge of the FAE community to grow strong field support.
- Influence the company’s approach to Validation and Systems Test Engineering.
- Key contributor to the company’s Engineering processes and workflows.
- Mentor and guide junior members of the team.
- Design and develop test plans for semiconductor devices and electronic systems and subsystems.
- Develop and implement automated test strategies for semiconductor devices and electronic systems and subsystems.
- Execute tests to validate hardware and software components of electronic systems.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues that arise during testing and provide detailed reports to the development team.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure that designs meet functional, performance and safety requirements.
- Assist the Lab Manager to ensure calibration and maintenance of testing equipment is kept up to date.
- Work alongside Customer Support Team to provide technical support as required.
- Design and develop PCBs for electronic systems.
- Develop software for embedded systems and user interfaces using Python, LabVIEW, and C.
- Engineer Level: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field. 2 to 5 years’ experience in Validation or System Test. Understanding of Electronic Systems and hardware design. Experience with typical lab equipment (power supplies, multimeters, sourcemeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analysers, etc). Experience with PCB design (Schematic and Layout). Experience with Test Automation using Python, LabVIEW, and C. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Ability to manage changing priorities in a dynamic environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Demonstrate initiative and innovation. Be proficient in using analytical tools such as Excel, Power BI, JMP, Pandas. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Senior Engineer Level: In addition to the above, senior candidates should demonstrate the following. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in ASIC Validation or electronic systems testing. Expertise with PCB design software, such as Altium or Eagle. Expertise with Test Automation using Python, LabVIEW, and C. Proven experience and knowledge of test equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analysers, and logic analysers. In‑depth understanding of electronic systems and hardware design. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical customers. Ability to manage changing priorities in a dynamic environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Demonstrate initiative and innovation. Be proficient in using analytical tools such as Excel, Power BI, JMP, Pandas.
