Dukes Tutoring is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic educator to lead a dynamic enrichment and student leadership programme across the Dukes Education network. This is an ideal opportunity for a teacher looking to move beyond the traditional classroom while continuing to inspire young people. The role combines workshop facilitation, curriculum design, student development and academic programme management, with opportunities for UK and international travel, hybrid working, and rapid career progression within a growing education group.
You will design and deliver engaging leadership workshops for primary pupils, while also supporting high achieving sixth form students through an innovative academic webinar programme focused on university preparation and super curricular learning.
Key Stage 2 Leadership Programme (term time)- Deliver high-quality, interactive 3-hour in-person workshops for Year 3-6 pupils as part of a structured leadership programme.
- Design and lead engaging workshops helping pupils develop confidence, communication, teamwork, public speaking and problem-solving skills.
- On occasion, deliver follow-up parent webinars designed to equip parents with practical strategies to support and reinforce their child’s ongoing leadership and personal development outside of the workshops.
- Travel to Dukes Education schools, including some international travel.
- Plan and facilitate a series of webinars introducing future university applicants to application pathways such as Oxbridge, Medicine, and Law, alongside enriching supercurricular topics that will support development of students’ subject insight, academic curiosity and application readiness (e.g. interview preparation and personal statements).
- Plan the curriculum of the online webinar series to align with specific university application objectives.
- Commission trusted tutors from our network to design and deliver these webinars.
- Develop a strong understanding of our tutors to ensure webinar sessions are reliably delivered and high quality.
- Support the Dukes Tutoring team in delivering primary tutoring and workshop delivery ad hoc.
- Collaborate on team tasks and provide cover for absence where capacity allows.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Key Stage 2 pupils.
- Strong classroom presence with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to deliver engaging, interactive workshops.
- Passion for character education and leadership development.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple programmes.
- Experience delivering online learning or webinars.
- Enthusiastic, inspiring and adaptable.
- Familiarity with university application pathways (desirable but not essential).
