Dukes Tutoring is looking for enthusiastic London-based 11+ tutors to join our team. The ideal candidate will foster academic growth, helping students understand what they are being tested on and how to excel in these exams. We are looking for educators who can turn assessment preparation into an engaging, confidence‑building journey for every child.
This is a self‑employed role designed to be fully flexible around your schedule, allowing you to choose the assignments you take on, whether in person or online.

We are a part of Dukes Education and are a leading provider of 1:1 tuition services for children aged 5-18. We deliver expert online and in-person tutoring to students across the UK and worldwide, using bespoke teaching platforms and tailored materials to support every child’s development. Our services cover a wide range of needs- from GCSE and A-Level to undergraduate studies and specialist SEN support.
Alongside one-to-one tutoring, we offer thoughtful, expert-led guidance that takes into account each student’s broader educational journey. Our personalised approach helps to build confidence, ease key transitions, and ensure every student feels fully prepared for the challenges ahead.
We are seeking passionate tutors who:
- Are confident with the 11+ exams and the differences between individual schools
- Have or are completing an undergraduate degree
- Truly love teaching and enjoy working with children
- Communicate clearly and effectively with both students and parents
- Are adaptable, flexible, and open to new challenges
- Bring energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude to every session
- Are willing to travel to client’s home to deliver their lessons (London-based)
- Are Enhanced DBS Checked, or willing to complete one
