Field Technician, Underground Infrastructure Services
Duke\’s is looking for a Field Technician to join the team based out of Plymouth, MI!

What You Will Do:
Our crews are the true backbone of our company. As a Field Technician, you will work with municipal customers and engineers. You provide quality workmanship and take pride in the work you perform by helping our customers provide safe, sanitary environments and clean drinking water to their residents. You enjoy being physically active and working outside in all seasons. You will spend the day working with our experienced operators and performing manhole, storm, and sewer line inspections and rehabilitation, inflow and infiltration (I/I) assessments, line stopping/line tapping on freshwater systems, and other services that improve the health of our underground infrastructure!

- Will abide by all safety procedures and policies, including wearing required PPE for your safety
- Are at least 18 years old
- Have a valid driver\’s license with a clean MVR record; chauffer\’s license is preferred, or must be willing and able to attain one within 60 days of employment.
- Are willing to undergo a background and MVR check, drug screen and DOT physical
- Are able and willing to travel out of town in and out of state as needed (all work-related expenses paid)
- Enjoy working outside in all weather conditions
- Have solid computer skills (i.e., use of computer tablets, uploading and downloading files)
- Are comfortable working around manholes, sewer/wastewater pipelines and chemicals
- Are able to lift 65lbs+ continuously (or more with assistance from tools)
- Are able to work in confined spaces, wear and use confined space entry restraints, and enter structures with 24” internal diameter openings or larger continuously throughout the day
- Have strong interpersonal skills and like working as part of a team
- Have previous experience working with chemical grouts, pressure grouting equipment, cement lining (preferred not required)
