We are seeking a Pastoral Assistant to support boarders and participate in running the boarding houses in accordance with the National Minimum Standards for Boarding Schools. The role involves being a supervising proactive adult presence in the boarding house committed to ensuring the health and wellbeing of boarding students and assisting with their daily lives, setting them up for success and supporting academic achievements.
The post holder will be directly responsible to the Boarding Leadership Team.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service.
- This post is exempt from the Rehabilitations of Offenders Act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020.
- The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to acting sustainably and regeneratively in their role, avoiding environmental harm wherever possible, mitigating unavoidable impacts, and contributing to the College’s Net Zero Strategy.
