Key Responsibilities
- Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and pastoral care, ensuring the well-being and safety of all pupils at all times in accordance with the school’s policies.
- Deliver inspiring, ambitious, and well-structured teaching across the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Plan and prepare engaging, creative lessons that challenge and support all learners through thoughtful differentiation.
- Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress with precision, using data and professional judgement to inform future teaching.
- Produce high-quality written reports and provide clear, constructive feedback to parents.
- Build strong, professional relationships with parents, communicating confidently both in writing and in person, including at Parents’ Evenings.
- Work closely with the Learning Enrichment Department to ensure excellent provision for pupils with SEND and those with English as an Additional Language.
- Create a stimulating, well-ordered classroom environment that reflects high expectations and celebrates pupil achievement.
- Integrate technology effectively to enrich and extend learning across the curriculum.
