Cardiff Sixth-Form College Cambridge is an ambitious and fast-growing sixth-form college, launched in September 2022 with a small cohort of international students. As the College continues to expand, we are delighted to invite applications for the role of Head of Chemistry. This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding Chemistry teacher to lead a high-performing department at a pivotal stage of the College’s development.
The successful candidate will work alongside an experienced and committed Chemistry team to deliver teaching of the highest standard, inspiring able and ambitious students to develop a deep love of the subject and achieve true mastery at A Level. Chemistry is exceptionally well resourced at Cardiff Sixth Form College Cambridge. Teaching is supported by a full-time laboratory technician and takes place in modern classrooms within our main teaching building.
The Head of Chemistry will play a key role in sustaining and building upon this success as the department continues to grow. This role would suit an inspirational educator with excellent subject knowledge, high expectations, and the ability to lead, motivate, and challenge both students and colleagues in a high-achieving academic environment.
