About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Finance Assistant to join our friendly and professional Central Services Finance Team in Cambridge. This role sits within Dukes Education, a family of educational organisations united in providing outstanding education and shared values.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing purchase orders, invoices, and payments accurately and promptly
- Assisting with monthly reconciliations and financial reporting
- Maintaining accurate financial records and databases
- Supporting budget monitoring and responding to queries from departments
- Assisting with audits and year‑end procedures
- Providing general administrative support to the finance team
About You
- Has excellent attention to detail and strong numerical skills
- Is proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial management systems
- Works well as part of a team and can meet deadlines under pressure
- Communicates effectively with staff at all levels
- Has previous experience in a finance or accounts role (experience within education or a multi‑site organisation would be an advantage but is not essential)
