We are looking to appoint members of staff to join our lovely Nursery team. If you already have a Level 3 Early Years qualification or would like to train for the new EBR qualification, we would love to hear from you. Our newly refurbished building is situated close to the Train Station, offering on-site bike and car parking. Sancton Wood Nursery is a family friendly environment with pupils aged 12 months to 4 years, recognised for its outstanding contribution to the social and emotional development of each individual child.

Our big garden creates an inviting space for the children to develop their physical play with Forest School, a large climbing frame, water pump and sand pit. If you are passionate about working with children and interested in professional development opportunities, we would like to hear from you. We welcome applications for full-time or part-time positions. Hours and days can be flexible between 7.30am – 6.00pm (with an early start/finish or late start/finish rota) Monday to Friday. The Nursery is open 48 weeks a year with closures at Christmas, Easter and 2 weeks in August. You will also be able to take an additional 5 days holiday plus any public holidays which do not fall during the Nursery closure periods.

Essential:

  • Level 3 or equivalent in EYFS (or above)
  • Willing to study for EBR qualification

Desirable:

  • Paediatric first aid qualified
