Cardiff Sixth Form College invites applications for the post of Teacher of English. This opportunity comes at the most exciting period in the history of the college as we look to relocate to brand new, purpose-built premises in Cardiff Bay from September 2026. Cardiff Sixth Form College has led the UK independent school league tables for A Level results for over a decade and has big plans for the future.
We seek a creative and dynamic practitioner, keen to contribute to a high-performing and dedicated team. The successful candidate will deliver IGCSE English Language and Literature as well as English as an Additional Language support for students preparing for their IELTS qualification. The English & Languages department also takes a leading role in the development of oracy skills, through a bespoke Critical Speaking course, and of critical thinking skills, through the delivery of the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ). The successful candidate may also be asked to support the delivery of these courses.
