Dukefield Foodservice, part of the Dukefield Group, have been supporting schools with their catering operations for over 25 years and we provide services to multi-academy trusts, schools, academies, nurseries and local authorities. We continue to grow at a pace nationally and require an ambitious individual to work with our CEO, being a pivotal part of the business development team.
Role and Responsibilities:
- The role initially will be taking over as a traditional Business Development Manager to fully understand the business, working directly with our CEO. Therefore, experience working within the education catering sector is essential.
- Rapidly, we would then want the candidate to take over the new role of National Business Development Manager as follows:
- Working with our CEO and Group Marketing Director to continue to develop our targeted market.
- Continuation of development strategy to target Multi-Academy Trusts; this involves continuing to build individual relationships with Trust Board Members, Business Managers, Headteachers, Bursars and Catering Managers.
- Working with the CEO regarding forecast sales targets and growth projections.
- Prepare and pitch sales presentations to all personnel levels.
- Identify and attend networking opportunities such as exhibitions and conferences.
Skills and qualifications:
- Knowledge of the educational foodservice industry is essential.
- Experience of working with MATs, schools and colleges.
- Strong negotiator with the ability to successfully address board-level personnel.
- Flexible and willing to travel within the UK for this national post.
- Term-time only working will be considered for this post.
