DUKE + DEXTER is a London footwear label. Since 2015 we've grown from our London roots into a global community of athletes, musicians, artists, designers and people who do things differently.
We make less than most, on purpose. Every pair is produced in limited runs using responsibly sourced materials, and we know exactly where our materials come from and who makes our shoes. We sell direct through our own site and to wholesale partners in the UK, US and internationally.
ROLE OVERVIEW
We're looking for an Operation & Logistics Coordinator to own the day-to-day execution of our operations, from supplier ex-factory through freight and customs and into our 3PLs, and out to customers and wholesale partners.
This is a new role in a growing Operations function. You'll have genuine ownership of defined areas rather than an assistant role, working closely with the Senior Operations Manager and with production, product, wholesale, ecommerce, finance and creative.
It suits someone who is organised, detail-focused and proactive: you'll keep goods, data and systems moving, spot issues early and fix or expand them before they affect customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Logistics + 3PL
- Manage day-to-day communication with our 3PL warehouses in the UK and US
- Track inbound and outbound shipments, including freight from suppliers
- Monitor goods-in against POs; flag discrepancies and delays
Customs + compliance
- Prepare and check customs documentation for imports and exports, including commercial invoices and packing lists
- Maintain HS/HTS codes, country of origin and customs data on product records
- Liaise with freight forwarders and customs brokers on clearance; flag holds and delays
- Track duties and import costs against shipments
- Support ATA carnets for showrooms
Production + supply chain
- Maintain the WIP tracker and monitor key production milestones
- Follow up with product developers and suppliers on timelines
- Track inbound deliveries against launch dates; elevate risks and delays early
Product + data
- Create and maintain SKUs and product data across Shopify, the WMS and other systems
- Support new product set‑up ahead of launches
- Keep operational data accurate and consistent
Wholesale
- Support wholesale order administration and retailer delivery requirements
- Track wholesale shipments through to delivery
- Liaise with sales and finance on orders, shipments and invoicing
- Support cross‑dodging and international fulfilment
Systems + reporting
- Support WMS, operational systems and tracker maintenance
- Support KPI and reporting data, including for the monthly operations report
- Support SOPs and process documentation
General operations
- Handle routine operational requests from across the business
- Identify and elevate issues to the Senior Operations Manager
- Support activations, pop‑ups and showroom requirements
ABOUT YOU
- Hands‑on experience working with a 3PL or warehouse, and with a WMS
- Working knowledge of customs and import/export documentation (HS/HTS codes, commercial invoices)
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills: comfortable with large datasets, lookups and pivot tables
- Very organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage several priorities at once
- Clear, confident communicator with suppliers, 3PLs, retailers and internal teams
- Proactive: you spot problems early and follow them through to resolution
Nice to have
- Two years' experience in an operations, logistics, supply chain or ecommerce role, ideally in fashion, footwear or apparel
- Experience with Shopify
- Experience with US imports, CPSC requirements or ATA carnets
- Experience supporting wholesale fulfilment or retailer compliance requirements
- Experience in a fast‑growing brand, where processes are still being built
