JOB PURPOSE
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Head of Acquisition is responsible for driving efficient, scalable new customer growth across paid and performance-led channels. This role owns the strategy and execution of customer acquisition across digital platforms, with a relentless focus on CPA, profitability, incrementality, experimentation and scale. The Head of Acquisition will work closely with the Ecommerce Manager and CRM Manager to ensure acquisition efforts convert into high-quality, long-term customers, while remaining fully accountable for acquisition performance. We’re looking for someone highly analytical, commercially sharp and creatively minded who is comfortable operating at pace and leading from the front.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Acquisition Strategy + Leadership: Define and lead the global customer acquisition strategy across paid and performance channels. Set, manage and deliver acquisition targets including CAC, volume, efficiency and incrementality. Build and own acquisition forecasting models, budgets and scaling plans in partnership with the COO. Establish clear performance frameworks and reporting to inform investment decisions.
- Paid Media + Performance Marketing: Own end-to-end performance of all acquisition channels including paid search, paid social, display, affiliates and emerging platforms. Manage and challenge external agencies to maximise efficiency and output. Continuously test and iterate audiences, creative, bidding strategies and channel mix. Identify, validate and scale new acquisition opportunities and platforms. Lead DM cold list acquisition testing strategy.
- Creative + Experimentation: Lead performance creative strategy in collaboration with creative team. Brief, review and optimise creative and copy with a performance-first mindset. Champion structured experimentation across ads, landing pages and acquisition journeys.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with the Ecommerce Manager to ensure acquisition traffic converts efficiently. Work collaboratively with the CRM team to align acquisition strategy with customer quality, LTV and lifecycle performance. Share insights and learnings to improve downstream performance without owning retention or ecommerce execution.
ABOUT YOU
5+ years’ experience in acquisition, growth or performance marketing within a DTC, high-growth brand. Deep expertise in paid media across Meta, Google, TikTok and emerging platforms. Highly numerate and comfortable making decisions based on data. Strong commercial judgement around CAC, payback and scaling efficiency. Confident briefing and evaluating creative for acquisition performance. Self-directed, rigorous and experimental by nature. Comfortable operating cross-functionally without line ownership. Shopify, Triple Whale + Google Analytics fluency required.
