This Australian based magic circle law firm is seeking a 1-3 year PQE front-end construction Associate to join a growing Construction practice based in Sydney. In this role, you will work closely with a senior partner who leads a prestigious transactional Construction / Projects practice in Australia. You will be an integral part of a broader national transactional team, collaborating with leading practitioners across M&A, Energy & Infrastructure, Real Estate and Project Finance. This provides exposure to high-quality, cross-disciplinary matters and access to deep transactional expertise.
You will also have the opportunity to work as part of a globally integrated Construction team, supporting complex infrastructure, energy and transport projects. These include large-scale data centres, renewable energy developments, mining, oil and gas projects, and major urban infrastructure initiatives, both within Australia and across the APAC and MENA regions.
The role offers the benefits of a specialist front-end construction focus combined with integration into a high-performing, full-service transactional platform.
- Drafting and negotiating complex construction contracts (including EPC, D&C, GMP, ITC and ECI) and related project documentation
