We are seeking a Technical Data & Technology Delivery Lead to support the delivery of a high‑profile remediation programme within a regulated financial services environment. This role sits at the centre of business and technology delivery, this individual will play a key role in driving delivery across multiple workstreams, acting as the bridge between senior business stakeholders, executive leadership and technical delivery teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for problem solving, shaping solutions, translating complex technical concepts into clear business language and ensuring the programme defines and delivers successful business outcomes.

Working closely with programme leadership and delivery teams, the Data & Technology Delivery Lead will provide hands-on leadership and delivery assurance whilst driving strategic solutions and operations with senior stakeholders. The role requires a highly consultative individual who is comfortable leading and managing delivery teams, driving momentum and removing blockers, whilst also contributing directly to requirements definition, solution design and stakeholder engagement – this is not a programme manager role, it is a senior technical delivery lead role.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience delivering complex regulatory and/or remediation change programmes within financial services. They should possess a strong understanding of data-driven and technology-enabled delivery, alongside experience operating across business, operational and technical teams within complex delivery environments. The successful candidate will balance strategic thinking with pragmatic, hands-on delivery leadership, with the ability to comfortably context switch between deeply technical solutioning, and non-technical executive business benefits and outcomes – clear purposeful communication, and strong consultancy and stakeholder management skills are essential.

Core Requirements
  • Strong experience delivering data‑ and technology‑driven programmes within Financial Services
  • Proven ability to operate hands‑on within delivery teams, not just at a programme oversight level
  • Experience working closely with engineers, architects, and data specialists
  • Ability to challenge and shape technical solutions, not just track delivery
Domain Experience
  • Experience in financial services (preferably banking)
  • Data‑driven programmes
Stakeholder & Consulting Skills
  • Strong stakeholder management, including exposure to senior/executive audiences
  • Ability to translate between technical and non‑technical stakeholders
  • Consulting mindset: structured, pragmatic, and outcome‑focused
Ideal Profile

The ideal candidate is someone who:

  • Comes from a data or technology delivery background, often within consulting or complex FS environments
  • Has moved toward leadership roles but remains close to the detail of delivery
  • Is equally comfortable:
    • Sitting with engineers to solve delivery challenges
    • Speaking with senior stakeholders to explain progress and trade‑offs
  • Adds value by making delivery better, not just reporting on it
