We are seeking a Remediation Data & Technology Delivery Lead to support the delivery of a high‑profile remediation programme within a regulated financial services environment. This role sits at the centre of business and technology delivery, requiring an individual who can operate hands‑on within delivery teams, working closely with engineers, architects, and data specialists to shape solutions, resolve delivery challenges, and drive progress.
While the role involves engagement with senior stakeholders (including COO/CRO‑level), it is not a pure programme leadership or governance role. Instead, we are looking for someone who can sit comfortably “in the middle” of delivery — able to get into the detail with technical teams, challenge thinking, and ensure solutions are practical, scalable, and aligned to business and regulatory intent.
Requirements- Core Requirements
- Strong experience delivering data‑ and technology‑driven programmes within Financial Services
- Proven ability to operate hands‑on within delivery teams, not just at a programme oversight level
- Solid understanding of:
- Data platforms
- Data flows / lineage
- Technology delivery environments
- Experience working closely with engineers, architects, and data specialists
- Ability to challenge and shape technical solutions, not just track delivery
- Domain Experience
- Experience in financial services (preferably banking)
- Exposure to remediation, regulatory change, or data‑driven programmes
- Sufficient remediation understanding to operate credibly with stakeholders (deep SME not required)
- Stakeholder & Consulting Skills
- Strong stakeholder management, including exposure to senior/executive audiences
- Ability to translate between technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Consulting mindset: structured, pragmatic, and outcome‑focused
The ideal candidate is someone who:
- Comes from a data or technology delivery background, often within consulting or complex FS environments
- Has moved toward leadership roles but remains close to the detail of delivery
- Is equally comfortable:
- Sitting with engineers to solve delivery challenges
- Speaking with senior stakeholders to explain progress and trade‑offs
- Adds value by making delivery better, not just reporting on it
