Our AI Strategy Consultant Lead will shape how organisations adopt and scale AI. This is a senior, client-facing role focused on translating business challenges into clear AI opportunities, guiding decision-making, and ensuring solutions deliver measurable value.

Working closely with senior stakeholders to define AI strategies, roadmaps, and delivery approaches, while providing informed oversight of technical delivery.

You will be:

  • A technically credible consultant who can bridge business and engineering
  • Comfortable operating at both strategic and delivery levels
  • Outcome-focused, commercially aware, and able to lead ambiguity

Requirements

AI Strategy & Advisory
  • Lead client conversations on AI strategy, use cases, and adoption
  • Translate business problems into structured AI opportunities and roadmaps
  • Define success criteria, value cases, and prioritisation approaches
  • Guide clients through key decisions, trade-offs, and risks (including responsible AI)
Technical Oversight & Delivery Leadership
  • Provide informed oversight of AI delivery across engagements
  • Ensure solutions are feasible, well-architected, and aligned to best practice
  • Challenge and guide engineering teams on solution design and delivery approach
  • Translate technical decisions into clear business implications
  • Maintain accountability for delivery direction and outcomes (with engineering leads owning implementation)
Team Leadership & Capability Development
  • Provide leadership and direction to consultants across engagements, acting as a role model for high-quality client delivery
  • Coach and mentor team members, particularly in: Consulting skills (problem structuring, stakeholder management, communication), Translating AI concepts into business value
  • Support the development of clear career pathways, helping individuals identify and build the skills required to progress
  • Create opportunities for team members to take on greater responsibility in client delivery, ensuring appropriate support and stretch
  • Contribute to building a high-performing, collaborative culture across the AI capability
  • Support hiring and onboarding of new team members, ensuring alignment to both consulting and delivery expectations
Business Development & Growth
  • Lead or contribute to proposals, pitches, and workshops
  • Identify new opportunities within existing accounts
  • Shape AI propositions, value themes, and go-to-market offerings
  • Support account growth through trusted client relationships
AI Innovation & Market Awareness
  • Stay up to date with emerging AI capabilities (e.g. agentic frameworks, tooling etc.)
  • Translate new developments into: Client-relevant use cases, Updated propositions and delivery approaches
  • Contribute to internal thought leadership and capability development
