We are seeking an experienced Firestopping Manager to oversee and manage passive fire protection and fire door works on a long-term multiple project. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional with a strong background in firestopping, site management, and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all firestopping installations on site.
- Carry out site surveys and inspections to ensure work complies with specifications and fire safety standards.
- Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications accurately.
- Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards.
- Monitor progress, maintain site records, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Identify and resolve any technical or site-related issues efficiently.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing firestopping or passive fire protection projects.
- Strong knowledge of firestopping systems, installation methods, and industry regulations.
- Ability to conduct surveys and accurately interpret technical drawings.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Willingness to travel to various project sites when required.

- NVQ Level 2 (relevant trade qualification)
- SSSTS
- SMSTS
- FIRAS certification (preferred)
Job Details
- Location: North London, North home counties Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, and Buckinghamshire (Luton)
- Hours: 8 hours per day
- Working Days: Monday to Friday
- Rate: Negotiable (depending on experience)
- Duration: Long-term contract β 12 months or more
