Make travel support effortless with your skills. At Duffel, travel is something we all care about. We know how frustrating it can be for travelers when systems don't work. That's why we're building smarter, faster, and more human support tools. In this role, you won't just write code. You'll shape the first LLM-powered assistant in our support product. You'll automate repetitive work, free up our Travel Ops team to focus on the tricky problems, and create tools that travelers and colleagues will actually enjoy using. Every line of code you write will have real impact.
What you'll get to do:
- Build full-stack features with React, TypeScript, and Elixir that people rely on every day
- Partner with designers to create self-service tools travelers will love
- Connect internal and external systems to make support feel seamless
- Automate repetitive tasks so your colleagues can focus on the problems only humans can solve
- Experiment with AI and automation, helping shape how we use cutting-edge tech to improve real-world experiences
We are looking for someone who:
- Thinks about the people using your product, not just the code
- Loves breaking complex problems into simple, elegant solutions
- Is curious about AI and automation and excited to bring it to life in real products
- Can explain technical ideas in plain English so everyone understands
- Cares deeply about creating a great user experience
Bonus if you have: SaaS/B2B experience, cloud platforms (GCP, Vertex AI), or experience with operational or support tooling.
Why you'll enjoy working here:
- Competitive salary and potential equity
- Work From Anywhere – choose where you work, locally or internationally
- Duffel Travel Allowance – experience the product you help build
- Generous parental leave
- Sabbatical programme – 3 months full pay to recharge
- Visa sponsorship available
- Shoreditch office plus regular team socials
Here, you'll make an impact from day one, building tools that millions of travelers rely on. You'll shape the future of AI-powered support, collaborate with engineers, designers, and product teams who actually care about users, and see the difference your work makes every single day. If you care about people, usability, and tech that just works, this is the role for you.
