Hotel financial data is complex — every property has its own accounting structure, its own chart of accounts, and its own interpretation of industry standards. As an Implementation Specialist at Duetto, you'll be the person who makes sense of that complexity, translating client P&L structures into our benchmarking environment and ensuring every new customer is onboarded accurately and on time. It's a role that sits at the intersection of hotel finance, data, and client relationships — and it's central to the value HotStats delivers to its customers from day one.
What You'll Be Doing
- Implement new business data submissions end-to-end — defining data formats, establishing timescales, and coordinating the collection of historical back data to get new clients onboarded accurately and on schedule.
- Analyse and interrogate hotel P&L results to build a deep understanding of each client's unique accounting structure, then execute the mapping of nominal codes to internal data fields — resolving ambiguities and maintaining data integrity throughout.
- Manage the translation of historical data across reporting periods, investigating and resolving balance issues to ensure consistency and accuracy in everything that flows into the benchmarking environment.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with client data contacts, becoming a trusted point of contact for technical queries and ensuring rapid, high-quality responses that keep implementations on track.
- Update and audit data mappings to ensure consistency within and across hotel companies, investigating variations between client-specific accounts and USALI guidelines — particularly around Allocated Departments and GOP reporting.
- Collaborate with the systems team to build custom translations and deliver full technical handovers to the Data Analyst team, while applying advanced Excel and database knowledge to support the development of business intelligence tools.
What We're Looking For
You may be a good fit if you have:
- 2+ years of experience in data implementation, financial analysis, or hotel accounting.
- A strong understanding of accounting principles, specifically USALI.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Excel and a solid understanding of how databases operate.
- The ability to read and interrogate complex financial statements with confidence.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for managing client relationships and collaborating across internal teams.
Strong candidates may also have:
- Experience in hospitality technology, specifically revenue management.
- Familiarity with hotel profit benchmarking or financial reporting platforms.
Why Duetto?
- Work that requires genuine financial expertise. This isn't a generic onboarding role — you'll be applying real accounting knowledge, USALI fluency, and analytical rigour to solve complex data challenges for hospitality businesses worldwide.
- A product that makes a difference. The benchmarking intelligence you help deliver gives hoteliers visibility into their profitability that they simply can't get anywhere else — your work is directly connected to the value customers experience.
- AI is how we work. Duetto is an AI‑first organisation — even in implementation and data roles, we're investing in tools and workflows that help the team work smarter and faster.
- A collaborative, multi‑disciplined team. You'll work alongside data analysts, systems specialists, and client‑facing teams — the kind of environment where you learn quickly and your contributions are visible.
