Role Summary / Purpose
The Product Manager, HotStats is responsible for executing against the HotStats product roadmap, contributing to the delivery of a world-class financial benchmarking platform within the broader Duetto ecosystem. Anchored in day-to-day feature development and cross-functional execution, this role applies established product management practices — including AI-assisted workflows — to build and ship high-quality product increments that serve hotel owners, operators, and investors.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the HotStats product backlog using AI-assisted drafting tools to write user stories, define acceptance criteria, and maintain prioritization in alignment with roadmap direction set by product leadership.
- Contribute to quarterly roadmap planning by using AI tools to synthesize customer feedback, support trends, and usage data into structured feature recommendations for senior review.
- Execute Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives in close partnership with the HotStats engineering team to support consistent, quality delivery.
- Analyze customer feedback, product usage metrics, and competitive signals using AI-powered analytics platforms to accelerate insight generation and inform feature iteration.
- Build relationships with key internal stakeholders across Engineering, Customer Success, and Sales to coordinate feature delivery, communicate release timelines, and support go-to-market activities.
- Document product decisions, feature specifications, and release notes through AI-assisted workflows, applying editorial judgment to ensure accuracy and alignment with product intent.
- Investigate customer-reported issues and product gaps, triaging and escalating appropriately in partnership with Engineering and Customer Success.
- Track key product performance metrics and contribute to reporting on feature adoption, data quality, and platform health using AI-generated reporting tools to reduce manual effort.
- Implement product management practices and processes as directed by senior leadership, contributing to shared AI workflow documentation for the broader product team.
- Perform other related duties as needed to support team and company priorities.
Qualifications
Required:
- 2–4 years of experience in Product Management or a related discipline (e.g., business analysis, product operations, or program management).
- Demonstrated ability to write clear user stories, manage a product backlog, and work effectively within Agile/Scrum delivery processes.
- Familiarity with data-driven decision making — comfortable working with usage metrics, customer feedback, and product analytics to inform priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across Engineering, Customer Success, and Sales teams.
- Working familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Notion AI, or equivalent) as productivity tools for drafting, synthesis, or analysis — and a demonstrated willingness to build AI-assisted workflows into day-to-day work.
- Ability to operate effectively within defined frameworks, manage competing tasks, and escalate appropriately when needed.
Preferred:
- Specialized skills, knowledge, or experience within the Hospitality technology industry.
- Experience with or exposure to financial analytics, business intelligence platforms, or data visualization tools.
- Familiarity with hotel financial performance concepts, including P&L structures or benchmarking methodologies.
- Experience using AI tools specifically within a product management context — prompt design, feedback synthesis, or spec generation.
- Experience working on a recently acquired product or within a high-growth SaaS environment.
