Warehouse Team Leader (AM Shift) – Airdrie

- Full, valid Driving Licence required for occasional shunting tasks.
- 40 hours per week on a 5/7 rota.
- Working hours: 06:00‑14:30.
- £13.39 per hour.

Job Overview
ArrowXL is hiring a Warehouse Team Leader to lead a team of hardworking operatives on the AM shift, ensuring our delivery crews are loaded to deliver the best service for all our customers.
Responsibilities
- Take accountability for the work area assigned (receiving, picking, loading, putaway, etc).
- Lead from the front with warehouse and product placement standards.
- Manage team performance against KPIs and set targets through strong leadership.
- Ensure stock integrity and quality control checks at all stages.
- Operate the team to high standards of hygiene and housekeeping.
- Complete administration and data capture accurately and in a timely manner.
- Operate within legislative requirements, especially Health & Safety.
- Identify opportunities to improve KPIs and challenge status quo.
People Management
- Communicate clearly so all direct reports understand objectives and standards.
- Define and manage day‑to‑day activities, prioritising to meet deadlines.
- Accountable for quality and performance of team members.
- Role model positive behaviours, recognising good performance and transparently addressing underperformance.
- Pro‑actively coach and mentor team members to excellence.
- Provide clear direction for improvement where needed.
